Golden Corn

The starter that everyone likes in the menu and will be vanished from plate in no time. Yes! It is golden corn. If you're trying hard to get the same taste and looks of the restaurant, then here it is, the right recipe for you!
Servings - 2

Ingredients 

Sweet corn - 1 cob
Corn flour - 2 tbsp
Rice flour - 1 tbsp
Maida - 1 tbsp
Pepper - crushed or ground, 1 tbsp
Oil for frying
Salt to taste

Steps to prepare

1. Deseed the corn and wash the seeds.
2. Boil the corn in water and little salt for 3 to 4 minutes only.
3. Filter the water from boiled corn and add all the flour, salt and pepper. Keep it aside for 5 mins.
4. In medium hot oil, fry the corn until it stops jumping or spluttering in oil.
5. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Tips

1. Add any masala desired after frying.
2. Be sure to close the lid while frying to avoid spluttering everywhere.
3. Only corn flour also can be used, rice flour offers crispness and maida binds it well.
